You could benefit from having a Fibre Optic line (FTTC or FTTP) installed in your home to take advantage of the many benefits that a Fibre Optic line can deliver.

A new independent local Service provider will supply your Telephone and Broadband Service with a personal Customer Service contact for ease and consistency, meaning you will no longer have to:

  • Wait in long telephone queues

  • Use automated help lines

  • Speak with different operators from varying call centres often around the world

Telephone lines have been a standard utility within homes for many decades now.

Over those years we have seen the introduction of the Internet, the World Wide Web.

Starting with 'Dial up' modems using the standard telephone line to connect to the Internet at approx 56 kilobytes per second (Kbps). These were the modems that would interfere with the telephone signal when in use, preventing any telephone calls from being made while the user was online.

  • ADSL line - The line is all Copper. These lines achieve the slower speeds.

  • FTTC line - The line leaves the telephone exchange as Fibre Optic then converts to a Copper line at the Cab and enters the property as Copper cable. These lines usually achieve speeds upto 80Mbps.

  • FTTP line - The line is 100% Full Fibre Optic. These lines can achieve speeds upto 1000Mbps (1Gbps)
